Describe the World in 2050

The world as I see it will be similar to the present but with some changes. I expect that we will find a way to occupy the world beyond the Planet Earth. I see us living on the moon or a planet like Mars. Originating from what is termed "primordial oose" or as the World in God's eyes and the Book of Genesis. The overall feeling of how the world will evolve in 2050 will be a great deal different from now.
The World will change in the sense that populations will be a great deal higher; however, we will probably limit the amount of children each family can have or maybe not. Additionally, there will be people inhabiting planets different from ours or it could just be the moon or a moon since the planets have their own. There will be new transportation like you see in the Jetsons where mini-planes will provide for quick movement around the Earth especially in North and South America and Europe.
People will be driving energy efficient cars that run on different fuel other than gasoline.

The act of putting pen to paper encourages pause for thought, this in turn makes us think more deeply about life, which helps us regain our equilibrium. ~Norbet Platt

Be Yourself

“Be yourself. Above all, let who you are, what you are, what you believe, shine through every sentence you write, every piece you finish.”
John Jakes 21st Century Writer

Individuality is part and parcel of self-esteem. If you love yourself then you are able to love others; hence your self esteem will be solid. Identify what parts of character are important to your own self-worth and if you are true to yourself then you can achieve great things. A term by Abraham Maslow a psychologist is known as self-actualization. Individuality is crucial to understanding what your full - potential is. It enables one to see what their long term goals are and what steps are necessary leading up to them. No matter who you are being true to yourself will shine through and you can achieve greatness.

Remember those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind. Be yourself and achieve all you can. Eventually everyone who come around, but who cares anyway. Your biggest fan is the person you have to please. and that's YOU.

Life in the Fast Lane Changing Gears

One of my old favorite bands the Eagles sang a song called "Life in the Fast Lane". Through time one realizes it is better to pace yourself this way you don't get burned out. I live my life gathering as much wisdom as I can process. At times it seems like suggestions are omnipresent. And if you really think about it they are, but you have to know which to choose and then only look back briefly. Confindence is important for everyone, so is assertiveness. That squeeky wheel gets the grease much more often as long as you exercise humility.
Today was a blah day. Rainy all throughout the day and I spent the majority in the house reading, writing and just thanking the Lord for just one more. Gratitude and Acceptance goes a long way, but necessarily in that order. I am grateful for life itself and thankful for a family who strives daily to be more. Setting goals is my next endeavor. MY short term are legal means of transportation, developmenting an income source, marching to the beat of the drummer this time, and being insync with my aspiration. Mens sana in corpore sano is my life pursuit and now at forty it is much more challenging. But that's what makes it fun. For now the short term are enough. Last but not least is health. I am getting in shape and keeping it off this time. It would be great to be ripped again; however, let's just say I'm not holding my breath. Prayer works. No but really the day is a struggle, but one that can be overcome.

Learning to love ourselves and then others

It takes real courage to admit when one is wrong especially to oneself. Each day the healing process allows us to strive a little more toward health. While you may make a mistake or even a group of them, resilence is the heart of the matter and it allows one to be a survivor. It just enables us to be a whole person complete with harmony or being at one with oneself and then society. Consequently, life is worth living and I know that I'm worthy.

Getting back this time around will be a blessing. This time it will be different I can assure myself. Taking life daily. Living life to the fullest and remembering where I was and how well I'm doing. Continue and never surrender nor give up. We are all worth it. Now let's see something good. All that was not is replaced by experience to know what is and what can be.

Taking a Break

Is it okay to take a break or give yourself a break from the grind? In fact, it is encouraged. People when they feel themselves slipping should take a few steps back if necessary. Regroup and change your lifesyle a little to add healthy coping syles.

Eating right has been a new priority and getting plenty of rest and a new exercise regimen is what motivates me to strive more for health and happiness. It allows one to know that he/she is going to be just fine and that the so called conundrums are easily worked out. While at the time they appear so monumental; in the broadest scheme of things they are just trivial. The best thing anyone can do for themselves and others is be healthy. It is as American Express commercials say ...... priceless.

Books about Computers

I have finally broke down and got a book on Vista. I figured that while I'm learning Windows 7 that it would be good to learn about Vista and master it as best I can. I also looked into a book on Twitter, Joomla, HTML 4, Basic Web Design and Photoshop just for back up reading to make me more knowledgeable. Knowledge is what Gates calls the Information Age of Discovery and its just this. The problem as many of us know is time.

When am I going to have the time to digest any pertinent information; well, I really don't know. But here's the thing, you can at least say you tried and that you have the information. I use them more as a reference book anyway. I will of course share with you what I discover. Web Design is so static now a days. People's wants and desires are ever changing, but so are the demands of consumers like you and I. I am thankful for a roof over my head and meals digested, but most of all. Thank you Lord for allowing me to accept the things I cannot change and the courage to change the things I can and most of all the wisdom to know the difference. That truly is ... SERENITY.

Daily Grind

I am beginning to delve into on a small scale website design. This time I am prepared for what was unexpected. It is a tricky thing because there is so much out there and people's tastes dictate creativity and originality. However, it is fun and a task I enjoy. I designed a website for my family and I plan on adding pictures as time goes on. It is mediocre so far but I expect it will come out fairly good.

What a beautiful day; mild temperatures a little breeze and a fair amount of sun. It couldn't be better. I feel good and I hope I'm not boring you as I am trying to keep the words flowing. Reading has progressed and life as a whole is looking up. I watch my brother toil with the everyday grind and I reflect knowing that I was there at one time daily routine without an end in sight. Over and over. My life has changed dramatically since then.

Its nice to see that he is now a father and to watch all of them with their families. I hope someday I can be just that. But until then I enjoy the time I spend with my nieces and nephews. Tonight is a family get-together as my cousins are coming into town. There is nothing better than a reunion of blood relatives. It makes life all the while that much more important and purposeful.

Ideas to share

It can be a good thing and a bad thing, that is technology. In The Road Ahead Gates shares his experiences and his excitement. For me, I am a bit excited about the recent developments, but that is when things are going well. There are ocassions however, when much time is expended getting things to work the way you expect. While we get so used to things as the status quo pervades our core, we as humans are I guess never satisfied.

We want life now and everything that is out there and that is where trouble arises. If you find this happening to you, just take a step back and appreciate how far we have come. This is what I embrace, the way things are and not what they should be. Never talk about shoulds just be grateful for what is and what may be.

Writing as a hobby

Writing can be a good cathartic way to express your daily feelings about a particular subject. It is good to express ideas whether its about the weather, the sports scores, the news or whatever suits you at the time you sit and write.

A decent writer has a message but mainly aims to convey information in the quickest shortest manner. The message should be clear and precise and it should tell you about how well you are doing and where you are going next. For me my journey has led me along different roads but as I come to this next juncture I believe the road frequently traveled is one that suits me.

The divergence that leads one to amble wayward only to come back to the road most frequently traveled is but an endeavor in futility; however, the only thing one can have is regret and for me there is none as experience is priceless. I now move to the road where many people walk, the survivors, the people destined to make some kind of mark not into obscurity but visibility as you have only one life and one existence. The best part about it is you can leave something behind whether it be life itself as I hear a cry in the distance or an aspect of it.

Reading List Classics

I am about to embark on a serious reading list of the classics and I thought I would share with you the list just in case you see something you like. Here it is:

1) The Count of Monte Cristo Alexandre Dumas

2) Sybil Benjamin Disraeli

3) The Scarlet Letter Nathaniel Hawthorne

4) 1984 George Orwell

5) Moby-Dick Hermin Melville

6) Frankenstein Mary Shelley

7) A Separate Peace John Knowles

8) Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde Robert Louis Stevenson

9) The Picture of Dorian Gray Oscar Wilde

10) Huckleberry Finn Mark Twain

11) The Great Gatsby F. Scott Fitzgerald

12) USA John Dos Passos

13) Catcher and the Rye JD Salinger

14) To Kill a Mockingbird Harper Lee

15) The Bluest Eye Toni Morrison

16) Wuthering Heights Emily Bronte

17) RiP Van Winkle and the Legend of Sleepy Hollow Washington Irving

There are just some of the classics that I will share some insight. My personal favorite is a Man for All Seasons, but I will have to look it up. It is a book about a man on trial for his life and he must act as his own lawyer before those that judge him. Currently, I am reading A Separate Peace with Phineas and Gene Forrester about two youth struggling with a potential draft into World War II. I will definitely keep you posted. So far it is good.

As for the day I am getting a lot accomplished mainly compiling my list of reading and writing some prose. I read a little of Freud today and about the Collective Consciousness. I discovered that Jung carried his thoughts on this subject further in a few works by Carl Jung. I am going to investigate it further. It is basically about how our soul contains information and I believe it may be encrypted in our DNA but that is coming from a layperson's perspective.

Francis Collins and the Language of God talks about Spirituality and the DNA proof as he goes from Atheism to Faith in Christianity. Very good account for anyone who is questioning God and is looking for a further explanation of his remarkable existence. I am still reading the latest version. But I am reluctant to discussion Religion with you just the fact that I am a believer.

I have always been a writer, but I am attempting to do it more frequently. I have been reading quite a bit of books and would like to share with you the knowledge I have gleened from the enormous amounts of script.

The latest book is called "The Road Ahead" by Bill Gates. It was written in 1995 and gives you a glimpse into the future of where technology is traveling to. A bit scarey, but also exciting. It excites me to know where we have come as a society in just the brief time I have spent here. Just had a Birthday and turned forty. Wow. What a big day.

He discusses his view of the communication highway which Microsoft and other cohorts are pioneering to change and revolutionalize the way we live our day. Not just for people in the United States but also the Global World. How we can touch the lives of people thousands of miles away just from a PC in our homes.
